Since EVO is this weekend (yes, I’ll be watching streams Friday through Sunday, so Twitter beware), I remembered some old pencil sketches I did of King of Fighters characters Shermie and Shingo in 2002. I liked my Shermie sketch better, so Shingo won’t make an appearance in this post. Dat smirk tho.

I started having this obsession with only drawing on binder or notebook paper in middle school, and that carried through high school. This is probably why I have a really hard time keep a “real” sketchbook up to now. I don’t know why I didn’t really like drawing on clean and completely blank white paper; I always had to sketch on lined paper.
