I’m going to the symphony tonight to see Yo-Yo Ma for the first time (and in before any of you say it, I know he plays cello, not violin), so I wanted to do something musical for Throwback Thursday today.

I only made one and I sent this out in an order earlier this year. It was a pretty unique donut, but it was fun to make. As a regular SF Symphony goer, I’m always inspired by them and music in general.

The sprinkles are eighth note sprinkles, and a friend recently asked me if I’ve made donut notes before. I haven’t. So maybe that’s my next musical baked good plush.
