This “Donut Worry Be Happy” sketch I did randomly one Sunday morning made me want to draw more of this “donut lover” character.

As much as I love drawing donuts, I do want to start illustrating other things with donuts, like this girl (semi-autobiographical, I guess).I never took figure drawing in school, so I never got formally trained in drawing people. I only took a Drawing I class that focused on objects, shading, depth, perspective, still life basically.

So, here’s to starting to expand my drawing skillz since I totally suck at drawing bodies, postures, and anything besides a straight on face.
