I posted a few shots on Instagram last week when I started working on some handmade mini sketchbooks.
I had a random urge to make them, so I bought some recycled paper: brown paper for the covers and cream paper for the inside. For me, making these was another form of de-stressing without staring into a screen. Slicing paper with an xacto blade and stapling up the books, stamping my name on the back and laying them out ready to be decorated was pretty relaxing in little chunks.
I also started making some tiny paper stickers to go along with the sketchbooks so that people who wanted the sketchbook could also choose to stick this wherever they wanted inside or outside their sketchbook or on another sketchbook or notebook they owned.
How I’m actually going to decorate the sketchbook covers is still up in the air, but I have a few ideas.
Happy Wednesday, all!
