I’ll be debuting my new large felt plush donuts this weekend at Maker Faire.

There have been a few changes since I last had any, and I’ve had a lot of fun with the changes.

After I ran out of beige felt (or at least enough to make large plushes) after Maker Faire last year, I went out and bought a bolt of plush felt. I’m finally making use of that plush felt. I also bought new fabric paint (some self-rounding “beads in a bottle” for the donut sprinkles which I’ve fallen in love with using) as well as large craft eyes for the donuts.

I’ve been trying to make a variety of flavors to have on hand this weekend, but definitely more of the pink-frosted-with-rainbow-sprinkles since that’s usually the most popular.

I think these changes make the large donuts so much more adorable, but I guess I won’t know until Maker Faire!
